On July 30, 2010, Safe Bridge Solutions sponsored a presentation for the University of Wisconsin Whitewater's CyberGirlz Technology Camp to help promote Information Technology to young female middle school students. This FREE technology camp was held July 26-30, 2010.
This hands-on learning experience, directed to girls entering 6th and 7th grades, is a fun and exciting way for them to learn about:
- Designing and building a website
- Creating a digital scrapbook and slideshow
- Digital video recording
- Building a computer
Safe Bridge Solutions sponsored Kacie Conroy who, for the third year, delivered her GET IT (Girls Educating Themselves about Information Technology) program. Conroy's program uses roll playing to teach the different types of Information Technology careers available upon college graduation.
"We are excited to be a part of the UW-Whitewater's CyberGirlz Technology Camp", said Dan Millin, Safe Bridge Solutions' Managing Director. "Our involvement is another way for us to promote the education and importance of the business analysis role in today's businesses."
