Successful Employment Process Minimize

1. We start with our core values of Family, Honesty, Integrity, and Professionalism and we hold ourselves accountable to treating you like one of our family members from the beginning.

The people that work for SBS pride themselves on never making people feel like we don't truly care about how they want to grow their career.

SBS in practice: We will never submit your resume to any of our customers without getting your permission and we will not call you about jobs that we know that you would not want to pursue.  At SBS, we first seek to understand not only your skills and interests, but your personal and professional goals as well.

2. We leverage our customer intimate market discipline to find the right opportunity for you

Our competition is often able to present the same job opportunities to people that we may be working with to find an assignment; however, many of our competitors are not able to offer professional expertise about why they believe you are a good resource for the position.

SBS in practice:  We have strong, deep relationships with our customers and we are able to share information with you about the customers overall business initiatives, their business drivers, the culture of their team, and their specific interview process.

3. Preparing You for the Interview

Working with an inexperienced recruiter or with a company that does not have an intimate relationship with local companies can put you at a disadvantage when sent to interviews without insight into the customer’s business or project.

SBS in practice:  We have outstanding relationships with all of our customers and we often have considerable market share within any given account so we are often able to tell you exactly what the customer expects and can properly prepare you for a client interview.

4. Make sure You Hit the Ground Running

Most people have a level of anxiety about joining a new group or team of people so it is important to work with a company that is knowledgeable about the client and has the necessary resources that can provide guidance for you during the transition.

SBS in practice: Because we have strong local relationships we are often able to connect you with our employees that can help you transition into your new assignment/team at the client site.  We also send out monthly newsletters about who's onboarding and offboarding at your client site and if you should need additional training or support we are known for doing whatever it takes to help you do a great job for our customers.

5. Facilitate continuous employment

It is a top priority of every person with whom we work to remain consistently employed on engagements that advance their careers. However, most staffing firms make no up-front committment to you so they have no "skin in the game" when it comes to making sure that they find your next  assignment.

SBS in practice: The majority of our consultants are salaried employees with our company so we have a vested interest in keeping our people working.  SBS also has the same level of urgency and committment to consultants that have elected to take hourly compensation.  SBS is about family and we leverage our extensive customer relationships to maintain one of the highest consultant utilization rates in the industry.
