Hourly Employee Benefits

All Benefits begin on the first day of the month following the first day of employment.

Group Life Insurance - Safe Bridge Solutions offers life insurance and AD&D coverage through UnitedHealthcare and provides $50,000 of life insurance and AD&D coverage for all employees.

Supplemental Life Insurance - Safe Bridge Solutions employees have the option to purchase additional life insurance and AD&D coverage for themselves, not to exceed 5 times their annual salary, through UnitedHealthcare. Employees also have the option to purchase additional coverage for a spouse and/or children.

Short Term Disability (STD) - Safe Bridge Solutions provides STD coverage to all employees at no cost to the employee.

Long Term Disability (LTD) - Safe Bridge Solutions provides LTD coverage to all employees at no cost to the employee.

Member Assistance Program - A Member Assistance Program is available to all employees at no cost to the employee. The program offers confidential support 24x7 to employees and their families for consultation, financial, and legal services, and referrals to community resources.

Long Term Care Benefits - Safe Bridge Solutions offers long term care insurance through UNUM. Employees have the option to purchase additional coverage for themselves and family members.

Vision Insurance - Safe Bridge Solutions offers vision coverage through UnitedHealthcare and employees can elect to purchase coverage for themselves, spouse, dependants, and/or domestic partner.

Flexible Spending Account - Safe Bridge Solutions provides employees with the option to participate in a Flexible Spending Account through TASC. Employees can elect to deduct pre-taxed dollars from their paycheck to be used for out-of-pocket medical expenses and/or dependent care costs.

401(K) - Safe Bridge Solutions employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) program through Pensions, Inc. Safe Bridge will match your contributions dollar-per-dollar for the first 3% and 50% of the next 2% of your contribution with a maximum match of 4%. Everyone is immediately 100% vested in the company match. Profit sharing contributions vest on a 20% per year five-year schedule.

Paid Overtime - Employees are paid for every hour worked.

Employee Referral Bonus - Employees that refer candidates to Safe Bridge Solutions qualify for a $1,000 referral bonus paid after three consecutive months of continuous employment by both the employee and referred candidate.

Certifications/Memberships - Employees are eligible for reimbursement for approved certifications and memberships to professional organizations.

Professional Development - Safe Bridge Solutions provides opportunities for professional development through training and education upon request.

Metro Commute Card/Parking - Employees are eligible to request an annual Metro commute card. Safe Bridge will cover 100% of commute card costs for work purposes (commute to/from work), or reimburse for approved parking expenses.

Company-Sponsored Outings - Employees are invited to attend all company events such as the annual summer family outing and annual holiday party.

Service Awards - Employees qualify for service awards for every five years of service.

Employee Discounts - Safe Bridge Solutions offers discounts with certain vendors.

Salary Employee Benefits

Health Insurance - Safe Bridge Solutions offers health coverage through Dean Health Plan (HMO) and covers 80% of the premium for employees, spouse, dependants, and/or domestic partner.

Dental Insurance - Safe Bridge Solutions offers dental coverage through UnitedHealthcare and covers 80% of the employee premium and 50% of the premium for spouse, dependants, and/or domestic partner.

Paid Time Off (PTO) - The amount of PTO you accrue each month depends on your years of service completed as shown below. Your PTO hours will be added to your account each pay period (semi-monthly) at the rate below. PTO includes vacation and sick leave.

PTO Carryover - Unused PTO carries over from year to year.

Optional Pay for Unused PTO - Employees have the option to request unused PTO to be paid out at anytime.

Paid Holidays - Safe Bridge Solutions compensates employees for the following six holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Paid Overtime - Employees are paid for every hour worked. Employees have the option to either be paid out for additional hours worked or to accrue the hours into their PTO balance.
